I have a thing for clouds.
Ha ha ha! (Had the idea for these two cloud cards back when I made these cards using recycled envelopes, so glad I finally got to try them.)
I’ve always loved clouds, from when I used to lay on my back on the grass in the warm summer sunshine with my sister and we’d decide what animal a cloud looked like — did you do that? I think everyone does, it must be universal. Then one summer when I was in 6th or 7th grade I kept track of the clouds each day in a journal — all very scientific-like — cirrus, cumulonimbus, nimbostratus — I still remember the names! I even made a barometer out of a balloon, a jar and a straw. Then in college I took a class on The Weather — whew, one of the hardest classes ever! (Seriously! Apparently, professors think people take weather classes to slack off so they make you work harder.) Nowdays, J and I always check the clouds when we go camping or hiking and try to read the sky.
And, I’m not the only one who loves clouds!

Do you have a thing for clouds? I’d love to hear!
Wishing you a *cloudy* day,

Amazing cards, Lisa! Those clouds are so cute and fun! Love how you can make simple but oh so fabulous cards!
love these cute little cloud cards, you are so clever Lisa. I’m partial to the big fluffy clouds we get here in So Cal in the Spring, they move really fast like they have somewhere they have to be.
Oh Nancy, you really made me smile with that image of clouds hurrying to get somewhere! Wonder where they’d go? hee hee. :)
your cute cloud cards, they make me smile! =)
Oh my…such cuteness! Love the clouds.
Kalino (my 6-yr old) is fascinated by clouds since learning about them in Kinder. Each morning when we walk to school, he gives me the forecast for the day. He knows the names (nimbus, cumulus, etc.). He reminds me when I should carry an umbrella. So cute.
I love your use of security envelopes – sky! I think I’ll try something similar with my girls :)
I took weather & climate in college, too! I loved it! Almost convinced myself to become a meteorologist, until I realized how many other sciences classes I’d have to take. I love reading the clouds, too. And, I REALLY love maps with frontal boundaries! (and climate maps)
definitely brightening my day Lisa.. just love both of littles clouds here :)
