HI!

Hi there! How are you? Me? I’m still catching up on CHA cards! Here’s one that I made using the new Hero Arts Uppercase Alphabet die.

Of course, you can use these letters individually to spell out whatever words you like! But I challenged myself to try and use them all together — and here’s what I came up with!

First I stamped a notecard using Butter Bar ink (love!) and the new Tweed Background (also love!)! Then I cut the whole entire alphabet out of the front of the card, reserving the “HI”. I colored them with Charcoal Ink, lined them up with the front of the card, then adhered them in place.

And that butterfly? Gotta love a good butterfly! This one I colored with both Momento and Distress markers (see supply list), then misted with perfect pearls in water and stamped — both are water based, so both work great together!

I tied it all together with some twine (hee hee, get it, tied it all together?) and a strip of gray cardstock stamped with the new Jumping Flowers and more Charcoal ink. Loving the gray and yellow color combo — have been seeing it everywhere lately. Really makes me happy!

  • Great card. I love all the elements! What do I win for spotting the backwards “B?”

    • Ha ha ha Wendy, we already spotted it at CHA! I think it kinda adds to the quirky charm. Don’t know why it’s like that! And just so ya know, it is fine after it’s punched out. :)

Annnnnnnd, the Q is out of order — it’s down in the last row! Too funny!

  • love it:)

  • You are soooo smart love hoe you used this die!

  • I just used this new die today in making a Valentine card for one of my grandsons and I love it. I will save all the leftovers and maybe use a whole piece on the front of a card for another grandson. I cut it out 4 times to get all the letters I needed and I don’t want to waste anything! Clever, clever idea and that tweed background is at the top of my wish list! Thanks!
