Happy NSD!

Hope you’re having fun today!  I had a minute to play, so I decided to do Kristina Werner’s 50th Color challenge, make J a card, AND play with the new deer + cloud stamps from Hero Arts — love them!

And yep, that’s a felt heart — you know how I *heart* felt!

Supplies: Design Block Clouds embossed in clear, deer stamped with brown chalk.  Felt heart cut from glittery red felt from Hobby Lobby using a Cuttlebug die. Used Spellbinders curved rectangles nestabilities to make the card.  Also Cuttlebug embossing folder on the Hero chocolate notecard — Hero notecards are white core, so when you emboss a dark color like chocolate it gives it a bit of a distressed look, without being too much. Prismacolor colored pencils.  Flower gems also by Hero.

And, if you’re looking for some more NSD activities, there’s lots of giveaways going on over at Hero Arts HERE, MORE Hero stamps being given away HERE on the ADT blog, one at Scrapbook Bakery HERE, plus there’s gotta be tons more!

Thanks for the super fun challenge Kristina!  And congrats on it being big five-o, wow!

Edited to add: When I entered the challenge, I did it because I wanted to be a part of #50 — I wasn’t even thinking of winning.  So, I am totally shocked and honored to find out that I’m a runner-up.  WOW!  Those were some super fabulous entries!  Hugs to all! Anyhow, to verify my identity and claim my prize, Kristina asked that I add the following code phrase to this post, so here goes: “The ostrich walks at about 6 pm.” hee hee, I feel like a spy or something.  Can’t wait to shop over at 2Peas, yay!  Thanks again Kristina, and thanks for all the challenges — they are so fun!
