Prairie Rose
Look what’s starting to bloom right outside the kitchen window — our Prairie Rose (Rosa setigera)!

I just love this rose. It’s our native rose, so you can just plant it and watch it grow — no fuss. Just look how the petals fade so there’s all different pinks — some even spotted

Love how it has blooms and buds all at the same time, so there’s always something going on.

So pretty.

More pictures soon when those buds open — I just took these really quick before work, because the flowers don’t last long! But there’s LOTS of them, so that’s okay.

Very pretty and love the color. Can you see them when sitting at your table?

Yep, we can see them from the table — so pretty while eating breakfast! :)
Awesome! And you always tease me for planting this species…
