Christmas cards are done!

NOTE TO FAMILY: No peeking at the rest of this post or you’ll see your Christmas card for this year! Everyone else — read on!

Finished my main Christmas card today — I made 30 of them! This card has been in the works since January but I just now had time to stamp them out!

I played around with how to make the card but it wasn’t working until I found these snow globe cards from Impress . Aren’t those snow globe cards the coolest?! And the envelopes that you use with them are cool too — clear vellum with snowflakes on them! I was going to put a link to them but it looks like they’re sold out. The inside says “delivering love”. As always, you can click on a picture to make it bigger.

Now I just have to get them in the mail! Whew!

Supplies: Snow globe cards by Impress, dot stamp by Hero Arts, sled and deer by A Muse, heart punch by EK Success, safety pins by Making Memories, ribbon by American Crafts and Michael’s. I colored the deer with Prismacolor pencils and drew the lines from the deer to the sled with a pencil.

  2. Oh WOW Lisa , those are great ! I am pretty sure that I won’t be making 30 of anything this year . I don’t even think that I would have time to address 30 envelopes ! WOW .You constantly amaze me with your creativity . :-)

  7. Hi LIsa!

I have been curious about how your snow globe cards survived the journey with the US Postal Service. Did those vellum envelopes and pins arrive safely?

Thanks again for sharing your beautiful work.

  8. Hi Jodie!

I decided I better not risk sending the cards in the vellum envelope, so I put the vellum envelope inside a regular envelope and mailed it that way! I

was going to try and send one to myself to see how it worked but I ran out of time.

    :-)
