Springtime in Texas

We had a pretty good thunderstorm last night — got 3.1″ of rain, yay!!! We really really needed rain, it’s been so dry. I don’t think it’s going to be a good year for wildflowers.

The sun is out this morning and everything looks so fresh and sparkly. I just had to stop rushing around for a few minutes to take pictures of our Mexican Plum. The smell was unbelievable, mmmmm!

  1. Pretty flowers!

  2. Lisa, Your stamping talents are beautifully matched by your photography skills. I have enjoyed the professional look to both.

Happy Spring, Lisa. I am in the snowy mountains of the Sierra today noticing as I ski that Spring arrived as a Lion”!

But that did not keep me from putting out my watercolor of the Texas Bluebonnet. It looks kinda cute with a snowy background at the window.

Also, I loved your St. Pat’s Card on the Hero Arts website. Clever.

Did you hear there is a new Paper Source store now in Berkeley? Just around the corner from O Chame where we ate that night in February. I visited it and it is sooo cool. Lots of competition now for paper…even I had to buy something!

Keep sending out your wonderful ideas.
