Future presents.

Jason gave a prairie presentation yesterday in San Antonio — it’s about a 90 minute drive from Austin without traffic — and he wanted me to come with him for company.

Lisa: I can’t, I have a ton of stuff to do, plus work.

Jason: You worked 14 hours yesterday. Hey, how about if I drop you off at Stamp Antonio?

Lisa: OKAY!

If you are ever in San Antonio you must go there. Forget the River Walk, the Alamo and all that jazz. Just get yourself over to Stamp Antonio. They have all manner of artsy stamp related things, including handmade papers, jewelry making supplies, tons of paints, inks, ribbons — and stamps from big and small companies galore, of course. I was in heaven.

I got lots of supplies for Christmas presents. Note to family: go ahead and peek, ha ha ha.

Found something I’d never heard of before called Moonglow Shadow Mist. The images on their website don’t do it justice. It’s a mica powder based mist — so sparkly and shiney. Got four colors because I couldn’t decide which ones to get. Ha!

Also not pictured are a magazine I’d never heard of called Cloth Paper Scissors, some American Crafts felt flowers and two Marvy oval punches.

And on the way home my honey stopped at Starbucks — peppermint mocha with holiday red sprinkles — yum. He is the best.

Ended up working until 11 after we got home, but it was still a great day. Can’t wait to play this weekend.

Oh and if you are in the area — there’s going to be a workday at Great Hills Park on Saturday from 9-noon. I’ll be leading the invasive plant removal group. Bring a handsaw or loppers and join in the fun as we get rid of some nasty Chinaberry trees.

  5. Hi Mary! The reindeer stamp is by deadbeat designs — a small company in Salado, TX. I got the copper too — and I agree, it’s totally yummy!
