Kristina’s Color Inspiration #39

I didn’t know if I’d have time for Kristina’s color challenge this week — what with going to CHA and all — but I needed a birthday card for someone I’ll see tomorrow so I just had to give it a super quick spin!

Here’s the outside — one of my favorite new Hero Arts woodblock stamps, the Big Mushroom!  I cut the card base to look like a hill…

And here’s the inside — I wrote “heard you’re over the hill! ha!”

And here’s a closeup of the raccoon — another fave!  I think he looks kinda mischievous…

Hope my friend likes it, ha ha ha!

Thanks to Kristina for a another great challenge — I’ve never used those colors together before, but I think I will again!

Supplies:  Big Mushroom, raccoon, message, woodgrain (on the door) and flowers (on the hill) by Hero Arts.  Gems + notecards also by Hero.  Patterend paper by Doodlebug.  Ribbon by May Arts.  Colored pencils by Prismacolor — I used black and red as per the challenge, then went over them with white to blend + soften.  Black glitter glue (on the mushroom dots) by Ranger.
