Dots, dots + more dots!

Sally is the featured blogger on the Hero Club Blog this week, and her theme is DOTS!  She asked me if I wanted to play along, and it sounded like fun so I said YES!  I ended up making two cards…

Of course I just HAD to use my favorite stamps from the Spring Catalog — the cute deer — after all, she has DOTS on her back — and the Design Block Cloud!  And doesn’t it look super sweet with that message?  hee hee.

I also got my white pen out and made some more dots to outline the shape.   It shows up great on chocolate notecards!

Then for this next one, I wanted to do the trick of making background paper by punching out circles and adhering them in place — love doing that!

Love this new bird too, it’s so fun!  One tip when doing backgrounds like this is to stamp the bird twice — once on the card base and then another time on a scrap.  Punch out circles from the scrap and then adhere in place — this way you get smooth lines.

  2. Super cute cards.  The deer reminds me of the one you won with on Kristina Werner’s challenge- so cute!  I love the new Banner with the adorable doll, one of my faves that I have seen with you and the poppy card (below) is great too.  Thanks for being an inspiration!
