Sweet, soft Friday.

Hi everyone, how was your week? Mine was super busy, but I have today off, yay! Having a Friday off seems so luxurious to me — yay for long weekends!

I thought I’d share this little crochet flower pin that I made for a friend. (Not saying who in case she reads this, ha ha!)

I just love to crochet! I love the feel of the yarn, and how you can make something.  And I read where machines can’t do crochet yet — it can only be done by hand.  Love that too.

So, do you have any fun plans this weekend? I have a little surprise planned for J tonight, can’t wait! And then I hope to do some reading, sewing, and stamping, and finish up my blog redo — it’s almost done!

Happy weekend,

You may have inspired me to get out the crochet hooks and make some flowers. I haven’t crocheted in quite a long time. I have lots of my Mother’s crochet hooks and they are very old! It’s fun to use them and remember her. She loved to crochet!!!!

Hi Lisa, I love to crochet too. I would love to make up some of those pretty flowers too. Can u send me the pattern to that blue one you shared with us today? How many do u chain before you connect to make circle and what size hook did you use? When you put hook in to draw up the yarn do you go into middle of crcle or do you go into chain?
