STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp!

Hi! Have you heard the awesome news? Simon Says Stamp is having a HUGE celebration all month long called STAMPtember™! Woo!

Here’s a little bit about STAMPtember™!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Over the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember” ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

I am so honored to be a part of the celebration! You see, I’ve been a huge fan of Heidi’s for years now, as she is one of the most kind, caring, and generous people I know! Getting an email from Heidi is like getting a ray of sunshine — her notes always make me smile. And when a package from Simon Says Stamp arrives on my doorstep I just can’t wait to stamp! So, when she gave me some new washi tape and dies of course I had to play! :)

I got a little carried away and made two cards to share — both featuring two of my favorite things to use with STAMPS: washi tape and neon ink! Here’s a little peek at what I did:

To see the cards along with some tips and tricks, including a new-to-me way to use washi tape, click on over to the Simon Says Stamp blog!

And that’s not all! Heidi gave me a coupon code to share with all of you for 25% off washi tape!!! WOO! Just enter code LSWASHI25 to save 25% off washi tape, valid from 9/6/12 through and including 9/9/12!

Click HERE to start shopping for washi tape! And, here are just a few of my faves — yep, I’m a washi addict ha!

(This woodgrain washi is perfect for manly cards, NEON washi — Heidi calls me the Queen of Neon, ha ha! — newspaper that’s great for collage, a super nifty washi looks like a safety pin holding whatever you tape it to since it’s translucent — love!,  this wider one comes in a set with other different widths and is so great for birthdays, asterisks that can double as retro snowflakes, lattice washi in grey and dark red — so classy, metallic silver and gold for Christmas or weddings, and of course, the Halloween chevronsorange polka dots — which you can use year-round,  spider webbubbles, and magic multi dot. I could keep going and going, but I better stop there…!)

Happy STAMPtember™, and happy shopping!

xo,
