Hey all! Have you heard the news? A Blog Named Hero is celebrating their one year birthday — all month long! Do they know how to throw a party or what? :)
Mary Dawn invited me to make a card for the occasion while we were at a stamping retreat together, and here’s what I came up with:
This photo was taken at Mary Dawn’s desk with my iphone, as I didn’t have my good camera with me. BTW, Mary Dawn is hilarious — just like you’d expect from her blog posts! We wanted to skype with Linda but ran out of time, darn. Hugs to both of these wonderful gals!
And a bit about the card! I wanted to keep it clean and simple since I had limited supplies with me. The card was inspired by THIS new washi tape. Love it, so fun! My thought was that it was like the sequins were falling down the card and on to the tape. Hope you can see it, HA! Annnnd, I borrowed some markers to change the color of some white sequins to colors to match the tape. Happy to say that it worked great! I had these sequins in my stash, but I’ve listed some awesome ones in the supply list below.
