Thankful.

Thankful by Lisa Spangler for Hero Arts

I’m thankful for so many things lately, including being able to walk for 4.5 miles at sub 15 mins/mile pace! It’s a new record since my last leg surgery. Cannot wait to get back to hiking and riding my bike like I used to.  Not sure that I’ll ever be able to run again, but I’m getting more okay with that. It’s been a long journey with so many ups and downs (too many downs sometimes). But I’m not going to give up! I’m just going to keep going, one step at a time.

This card that I made for Hero Arts is kinda like that. I just kept adding one stamp at a time until I was done. To see my trick for how I made it, join me over at Hero. :)

Just a note of encouragement. Keep on “keeping on”, because it sounds as though you have made lots of progress. Winston Churchhill said it best. Never, never give up!

  2. I love this adorable wreath, Lisa! Such pretty colors and nice CAS design. Hope your knee gets better and better.

  4. This card design is terrific! So many possibilities.

  5. Love your spirit, Lisa! Who needs to run……lots of other options. You go too fast, you miss lots of details. This is wonderful – love the layering of elements and those great metallic embellies (they are on my wishlist). Thanks for sharing ALL that you do!

  6. i am so in love with this one. absolutely gorgeous and so clever, Lisa!
