Watercolor Flowers

Hi there! I’m guesting over at the Simon Says Stamp blog today, come and join me! I’m sharing a super easy — and super cool — trick for watercolored flowers. Here’s a little peek at the three card set that I came up with.

Watercolored Poppies by Lisa Spangler

Yes, I said THREE cards! And I could have kept going and going and going — it’s just so fun.

It was all inspired by some paper in the BasicGrey Fresh Cut 12×12 collection pack — it’s so pretty and fresh! I just used a cheap watercolor set from the craft store, but this Faber-Castell watercolor paint set looks like a winner if you don’t have a set already. You’ll also need some regular paintbrushes to do this technique — I love these by Claudine Hellmuth — in fact, I have two sets! They really take anything I dish out at them.

Anyhow, see you over there!
