Easy Watercolor Backgrounds

Hello hello! I’m honored to be guest blogging over at the CLASSroom today for Ellen Hutson! I’ll be sharing ideas for making a sleighfull of Christmas cards, all made super fun and simple thanks to the daVinci #30 Flat Wash brush. This guy is my new BFF! It’s so easy to make neat watercolor backgrounds thanks to this brush plus Daniel Smith watercolors.

Here’s a peek at just a few of the cards I made — once I started playing with this Big Guy I just couldn’t stop!

See ALL the cards and watch the video over on the CLASSroom!

Besides that brush, I’ve listed a few of the fave supplies that I used below. If you’re just gonna get one supply besides that brush, I’d say to go for the Daniel Smith Bronzite watercolor. It’s so pretty and adds just a hint of shimmer to anything you mix it with. LOVE!

PS. Ellen was kind enough to enough to give me a coupon code to share with you all! Now through December 4th, use code LisaDT2017 and save 10% on everything except new Mama Elephant (in the last 90 days) and the new BCRF set. YAY!
