I’ll miss you.

I gave this card to my husband Jason before he left for California this morning — 6 AM flight, ugh!

We always have a cup of tea together at night — kind of a ritual — and we have it in our Fiesta mugs, so it fits in perfectly.

I used the same colors as the last two posts but toned down the blue — to me this makes it seem not as cheerful. Like the Fiesta is still just as cheerful, but I’m not. :(

Supplies: Hero Arts pixie letters lowercase (LL033), Uptown Designs tea cup with bird (this one is pretty old), Prismacolor pencils.

  1. Hey just noticed something — look at the colors in the Fiesta photo! They match too! Hee hee!

  2. Oh how beautiful !!!! I love Fiestaware !
I’m sorry that you are blue but you will have a great time when you see each other again ! We are covered in snow and it is so cold here so I would love to go somewhere warm .

  3. Hi Lisa, I really like all of your cards! Rubber stamping and Fiestaware – two of my favorite things – who knew they could combine so well? :-)

  4. Oh yeah, Fiesta and stamping go great together! I get color combo ideas when I’m putting dishes away!

  5. This is so cute and your coloring on the mug is awesome. I can’t believe the “I’ll miss you” is stamped w/letter stamps. How did you line them up so perfectly? Please tell me you used a Stamp-a-ma-jig???

  6. Hi Jen! Nope I didn’t use a stamp-a-ma-jig — don’t own one and have never actually seen one in person!

You won’t believe how I did this — but here goes — I turned the card upside-down and stamped the letter stamps upside-down too! Hee hee. I started with the “u” and worked my way backwards — uoy ssim ll’i It works great and it helps to write down the phrase you want so you get the letters in the right order! Plus this way you don’t have to worry about where to start and you know you won’t run out of room.

  7. Thanks for the card!
