Card for Grandma!

My grandma loves tulips but the squirrels and chipmonks always seem to dig up or eat the bulbs, so this card is for her! Plus it’s still snowing where she’s at — so hopefully this card will send a little spring her way.

I thought I’d try something and cut out the tulips and glue them along the top — what do you think? I cut the card down so that it would still fit in the envelope.

Supplies: Hero Arts Small Watercolor Tulip (F3832), Vertical Stripes Background (F3833), Box of Words (LL001), Tiny Tags (PS408), Little Safety Pins (CH115). Cardstock by Bazzill. Lyra watercolor crayons. Orchid VersaColor ink. Ribbon by American Crafts.

  1. SHUT UP!!!!! Lisa, don’t misinterpret that: unlikely as it sounds, that is a compliment of the highest form. I seem to blurt it out whenever I’m highly impressed! Ü What do I think? Well, the first 2 words outta my mouth pretty much say it all. LOL!

  8. Beautiful Lisa, as always! No tulips in bloom here so this picture helped me celebrate Spring with some gorgeous flowers.

Any hummingbird sightings yet? I am anxiously awaiting their arrival, probably another month here in WV. We are expecting several inches of snow tonight. . . a cold welcome to Spring!

Thanks for continuing to share your fabulous art!
