Summer Postcards

I love making postcards in the summer — fast and fun! For this one, I made the postcard out of white cardstock — it’s 4 x 6″ — then masked one side with post-it notes, rubbed Tsukineko sea breeze chalk ink on it, then stamped the message. Then I moved the post-it’s over to cover that area and stamped the asterisks on the left side with sea breeze and VersaColor lime. voila! All stamps by Hero Arts.

  1. Oh, lovely! Great colors. Fun stamps, too.

  2. As usual, another brilliant idea!! Lisa, what thickness of white paper do you use for postcards?

  3. Love the snappy colors. Thanks for telling how you made it.

  4. Hi Ann! I use my regular white cardstock to make the postcards — it is 80# paper. Or if I mess up the front of a white purchased notecard I cut it in half and use the back.
