Happy Birthday to my stepmom Debby! She doesn’t read my blog so she won’t see this card ’til she gets it in the mail, ha!
Supplies: Would you believe I lost the flower pot, stem, and flower stamps on my desk? Well you would have if you’d have seen it before I cleaned it! These three stamps plus “wishes” are by Mostly Hearts. The “happy birthday” is by Savvy Stamps. Tag by KI Memories — was also lost on my desk. Ribbon by Offray — but I cut the edges and frayed ’em because I thought it was too wide. Card by Memory Box. Gemstones in flower centers by Hero Arts.
Simple and elegant. I love it!
anja :)
I love those KI tags – you’ve given me some ideas on what I can do with my stash! Cute card – cute stamps!
I still say you are a genius, you just don’t know it!! Cool card! At first I thought the blue was on a light brown card at an angle!! Is the shadow under the tag created by the flash of the camera, or do you stamp it somehow? Love all your cards. :)
cute card! i like the colors.
Love this !! simple but so beautiful !! :)
Hi Ann — the tag is mounted to the card front using foam tape, so that is the shadow from the tag that gives it that dimension. The picture was taken on my desk with the light coming from the window behind it, and my desklight overhead.
I love using foam tape for adhering tags.
Hope this helps!
Lisa

Yes…I believe you can lose stamps like that. ;) LOL! I know from experience. Ha!
