Our friend Scott always checks our mail and feeds the fish while we’re away — so I made this card to thank him!
He’s into recycling, saving the Texas prairie and the environment and does a bunch of work to that end — a really good guy. So I decided to honor that by using scraps of paper and saved twine to make the card. The paper has little bits of fibers and such too — looks like it is made from part post-consumer waste.
Supplies: Fish by A Muse, thank you by Savvy Stamps, and bird holding mail by Rubberboon. Notecard by Fabriano. Little safety pin by Hero Arts. Square punch by EK Success. I used pop-dots to adhere the punched squares to the card front.
Very simple but wonderfully effective!! I look forward to ALL your card creations, LIsa! :)
I like it, it’s masculine and simple but not boring. That A Muse fish makes me smile whenever I see him (or her). I need to get more of those tiny safety pins, they add that little extra something and are not too bulky.
ooo it’s pretty!
Oh, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. I just love all your works. If you only knew how I aspire to stamp like you … Well, I guess now you do know! LOL!
Warm hugs, Julie
