This is too funny — I told you I had been stamping up a storm lately but couldn’t share anything with you just yet, right? And I also posted about going to Summer CHA in a few weeks.
Well I needed to make a birthday card for Jamie — hi Jamie! — and I was down to a few inches of work space on my desk so I had to take the time to clear it off — and what did I find but this Starbucks bag from breakfast at the airport on the way home from Winter CHA! I had saved it because I thought it would be a neat layout to use with the Hero Arts ClearDesign Month stamps, but it got buried under an avalanche of cast off Christmas cards. RE-inspired!
Supplies: All stamps by Hero Arts. The flourishes are from a just released set that is in the Fall Catalog — I love it. Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks in Pink Pastel and Ice Blue — inked first with the Ice Blue on the flourishes and then dabbed on Pink Pastel here and there. I used the trick of stamping an “o” from the Basic Lowercase Letter set over the “10” in French Blue to mark the date. Memories Black ink. Patterned paper by Basic Grey. Hero Arts gemstones. EK Success circle punch — the khaki “whale of a punch”.
Now that is totally cool! How you manage to adapt a design never ceases to amaze me, Lisa. Love the card.
You are KILLIN’ me! You know that, right?! Beautiful! …….THUD!
