Three B’s!

Hi everyone, how has your week been so far? Mine’s been Busy Busy Busy! Can you believe it’s almost Friday? I can’t.

But! Those are not the “three B‘s” I’m referring to. These are:

Hope you like my little note — and my little joke, hee hee.

I made this card the same day I made this one. It’s also inspired by the Container Store — this time by a lovely little blue + brown box I saw in the gift wrap section.  (It’s not online so that I can share tho, bummer.)

(Supplies: Butterfly and brocade stamps, and pearls by Hero Arts.  Aqua Zing! embossing powder by American Crafts.  “a little note” by A Muse.  Ribbon by Martha Stewart.  Stick pins and neato safety pin by Making Memories.  Perfect Pearls, Tea Dy and Vintage Photo Distress inks by Ranger.  Copic Markers to color the butterfly.  A super quick how-to: I embossed the brocade on white cardstock, then rubbed the distress inks all over it using a sponge and wiped off the embossed parts with a baby wipe.  Love the vintage look this gives!  Then I colored the butterfly with markers, cut it out, and misted it with Perfect Pearls in water.  Used  a bit of thread for the antennae — a trick I learned from Shari — thanks Shari!  Assembled the rest of the items and ta dah!)

Bye Blogging Buddies — sorry, couldn’t resist!
