I’m a sucker for a good doily! And this new Doily die from Hero Arts is perfect, because you can cut your own, in any color, anytime you like! For this card I wanted to keep it white to make it look more like a “real” doily, ha! Here’s what I came up with:
Love. It.
I used some fun papers from Studio Calico and BasicGrey to pull it together (see supply list), and I couldn’t resist adding some Rock Candy distress stickles to the hearts on the cupcake. Yum. Oh and, I colored the cupcake with Copics, but I don’t remember what colors I used — sorry!
Love ALL of the papers in the Studio Calico Classic Calico v3 paper pad — it’s so very versatile with all of the neutral colors and patterns — espeically this number background — I think it’s just perfect for birthdays, don’t you? And the color reminds me of a luscious chocolate. :)

Another absolutely great card!!!! I love all the dark colors and then the pop of white with the doily. It just pulls it all together. ;) Genius!
