These cards are for a friend’s daughter who just had surgery.
Supplies for the left card: I cut a petal shape out of a scrap of cardstock as a template and then used it to cut petals out of scraps of patterned paper. All stamps by Hero Arts. I stamped on the button using Staz-on ink. This is a matchbook card that opens the other way. I stamped “get well soon” on the inside. Cardstock by Bazzill.
Supplies for the right card: Scallop stamp by Savvy, sequins by Doodlebug. I printed out “hang in there” on the computer using Times New Roman. Hanger by Card Connection. Cardstock by Bazzill.
Your friend’s daughter will surely feel better when she receives these! Like the way you turned the matchbook card. Still love how that ribbon attaches, that is clever.
I played with the matchbook card yesterday. Used the HA happy stamped in red with a Santa image. For the inside folded an 8″ square paper into an explosion and stamped Ho Ho Ho.
Thank you again for posting the instructions.
Very cute!
Glad you tried the matchbook cards! I can’t stop making them!
The inside of the card with the Ho Ho Ho sounds cool! Gonna have to try something like that, good idea! Thanks!!
Fabulous!
