Made this quick birthday card for my Aunt Ruth tonight — she doesn’t know about my blog so she won’t see it until I give it to her on Friday, ha ha ha!
This is a new 2006 Hero Arts stamp that I’ve been wanting to try out for a while now but haven’t had a chance. The stamp is so detailed that you don’t need much else to set the card off.
Supplies: Hero Arts Fancy Cake (H3784) and Sketch Spiral (A3076) stamped in Ancient Page chocolate permanent ink. I colored the cake and rose/spiral with watercolor pencils (Hero Arts MC011), and added clear glitter glue to the candles. The ribbon is by American Crafts and the paper is by Bazzill. I embellished the envelope flap with another rose and some more ribbon.
another winner! You do beautiful work, Lisa!
WOW !!!!!!!! What a beautiful start to my morning ! I love this – especially the flower ……….what a great idea . And your coloring is superb !

Great card! Looks not only cheery but TASTY! I like the idea of stamping with the chocolate ink.
Yeah, it made me hungry too!!! I’m a sucker for chocolate, and the icing made me think of strawberries!!! YUM!
I am anxiously awaiting my catalog…your sneak peeks have made me crazy for more!!
