Here’s my entry for the Graceful Envelope contest. This year’s theme was “a fine line”.
I just entered it for fun, don’t think I have a chance at winning — check out their site and have a look at previous winners, there’s some awesome ones!
My entry is supposed to signify how we’re walking a fine line between preserving natural spaces — like the prairie — and development, but that’s probably not apparent, ha! The line is really straight, I couldn’t get the scanner to behave itself. We need a new scanner!
This will be my last post until Sunday probably — tomorrow Jason and I are doing the Pedal Power Wildflower ride — hope my foot holds out! We’re signed up for the 36 mile route. Hope the weather holds out too — chance of showers, high of 87, and humidity at 80% — ugh! With the heat index it will be in the 90’s! Gonna take the new camera so hopefully I’ll get some pics!
Supplies: Hero Arts small circle, Savvy Stamps large circle, Memory Box bird. I used Colorbox Robin’s Egg blue and Sky Blue for the sky, and Ochre for the ground. Also VersaColor Marigold, Lime, and Green Tea.
Great envelope Lisa ! :-)
I got my Rubber Stamper today and I love your cards ! It is so cool that they used all 3 cards from each Design Team member. I really like your color combinations .

Congratulations, Lisa! I just saw three of your cards published in the Apr/May Rubber Stamper magazine! They are terrific cards!
