Is it stitched or is it stamped? That’s what my husband asked when he saw this Mother’s Day card I made for his mom!
This card was inspired by a combination of my friend Barbara’s COW (Card of the Week) on the Hero Arts website, and my new friend Nancy Taylor’s faux stitching tip! I just met Nancy in Sacramento last week — she is the best!
Here’s what to do:
- Emboss a Hero Arts Stamp Stitches image and emboss — here I used VersaMagic Jumbo Java and embossed in clear.
- Use a pin to pierce the paper along the stitches.
- With a needle and embroidery thread, add a little bit of thread to the beginning and end of the stitches. This is Nancy’s perfect touch! Viola!
