This one goes out to Sarah, who asked about what kind of book I keep my color journal in. It’s a large Moleskine sketch book. I love these books because they have really thick pages that don’t warp when you glue things to them. The book also has an elastic band sewn into the back cover that goes around the front to hold it shut — great for when you’ve glued a bunch of stuff in there! And it also has a ribbon sewn into the spine to mark your place! Amazon.com sometimes has these, or you can buy them directly from Moleskine. I also keep a small unlined notebook handy for jotting down ideas. And I have another notebook where I journal all of my hiking trips. These things are just great!
Supplies: Hero Arts Flower Ruffle (E4283) and Dots Galore (A4241). VersaColor orange, marigold, lime, cyan, fresh green, baby blue.
OOH, I remember your color journal … I think it was way back in January when you wrote about it. Have put it on the list of things to see at your place :-)

Oh yes- would LOVE to see more of your color journal! i went way out of my comfort zone yesterday and used Wild Plum(adirondack ink) with an aqua kind of color-POP!! WOW it was stellar! Gotta do that more often!
that is so beautiful! good idea to have color journal… do you have to stamp all ink colors in your book?
Hi Cynthia — I stamp all of my inks on tags that I have a loose leaf binder on — I should post a pic of that too!
Hi Mary — the next post is for you!
So cool idea, Lisa….as usual!
