I sure did! Saturday Jason and I ran errands — got a bunch of things taken care of — plus I cleaned house and went for a bike ride. Then Sunday I went seed collecting with my friend Scott. A few of the places where we stopped were along the San Gabriel River — you’d never guess it was a river from this pic though, ha. Then Monday I went for another bike ride and worked on some assignments for Hero Arts. So glad everyone likes the clear stamps — yay! We finally got some rain today, so hopefully the river isn’t as dry…
Oh, and in case you were wondering — we collect native Texas plant seeds and Scott grows them for use in area preserves and parks. Scott can grow anything, he’s Mr. Green Thumb. We always make sure to leave enough seed for the next generation, unless there are bulldozers approaching! We mostly collect on roadsides — these plants aren’t protected in Texas and we always hope that they’ll set seed before they get mowed. We also get permission to collect from properties that are soon to be developed. So there you have it!
Looks more like a broken up road instead of a river.
