Prairie parsley and friend.

Taken this morning in the back garden. Prairie parsley is a great plant for wildlife gardening — neat bees and wasps pollinate it, and it is a larval host plant for black swallowtail butterflies. It’s also edible — yum.

That’s a clump of switchgrass in the background — another great prairie plant.

  1. How could the back yard possibly get jealous when you do it such justice with your photography? I’m enjoying your photos (esp nature ones) so much. Thank you for posting them!
