This one is for my Granny. She loves red! Red can be hard to use on cards — except at Christmastime and Valentine’s Day — but as soon as I saw this paper I thought of her knew it would make a sweet card.
We have a thing where we send each other hugs over the phone. I miss her.
Not the best photo in the world, but I was in a hurry to get this in the mail. The notecard is actually a light blue.
Supplies: All stamps, notecard and gemstones by Hero Arts. I love this Bird with Long Legs, it’s just too funny. Patterned paper by American Crafts. Flower punch by EK Success. Prismacolor colored pencils. I attached the bird with pop dots. Scallop edge rotary cutter by Fiskars.
Love this card. Your Granny will enjoy it.
Love, love, love this…heaven forbid if this stamp shows up in my LSS!
Cute! I like how you “underlined” the sentiment with the rhinestones.
Another fab creation, Lisa! Love the colors and bit of bling on this one. And that bird is just too cute for words!
Lisa,
I have been looking all over for Birds With Long Legs and Decorative Birds from Hero Arts. Our local stores don’t sell it. Do you have any idea where I can get these online. I so wish that HA would sell more online. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Dawn B.
Hi Dawn,
You can find Decorative Birds here in the Hero Arts online store:

As for online stores, since I work for Hero I shouldn’t really recommend any. (You know how it is.)
Smiles,
