Just wanted to let y’all know that I am back — from a prairie weekend — we left Friday after work and got back around 9:30 last night. Saw prairies around Munster, Saint Jo, Forestburg (those are all up near the Oklahoma border), and Mesquite and Lewisville (near Dallas). Had tons of fun and got to hang out with some great prairie people.
Yesterday was the first meeting of the Texas Prairie Coalition that Jason coordinated — went well!

Crazy… I read your blog all the time and here you were in my own town this weekend! I had no idea that Lewisville was a prairie hotspot!
