Yep, a tool roll.

Used a pattern from Lotta Jansdotter’s Simple Sewing. I’m not a big sewer, so if I can make it, anyone can! This book has some more neat patterns — can’t wait to try to make a doorstop, I already have the fabric picked out.

I took the tool roll on my trip to Hero for the photo shoot and it worked great. It holds my trusty ruler, brushes, pencil, bone folder, xacto knife, scissors, awl, gluestick, eraser, permanant fine point black pen and double sided tape — but the beauty part is that you can customize it to fit whatever you like.

Fabric was on clearance from Purl Soho and Hancock Fabrics. Purl is a way cool site, I drool everytime I go there — you have been warned!
