Wow, this is so nice. It’s been so long since I could breathe noromally I’d forgotten what it was like.
Wow.
Wow.
Okay, enough wow-ing — went to the doctor’s office this morning to get the “splints” removed from the sinus surgery — “splint” is not an adequate name for those suckers. “Splint” sounds like splinter, something tiny and small — maybe a little irritating, but generally easy to get out. These things were 4.5 inches long — ask J, he actually looked in the trash to see them he was so impressed. The doc used one of his “toys” to pull them out — and pull — and pull. They were followed by a even longer snot trail. Followed by novacaine. Then ahhhhhhhh.
Now I’m going to enjoy breathing. Haven’t done that for a long time.
Wow.
The beautiful orchid is from everyone at Hero Arts — thanks all, it has really made me smile.
LISA….SO GLAD YOU ARE “BREATHING” A LOT BETTER…HOPE i NEVER NEED THAT SURGERY….I HAVE TROUBLE WITH SINUS INFECTIONS…BUT, HAVE NOT GOTTEN THAT BAD…TAKE CARE…WISH YOU WELL !!!
Glad to hear you can breathe again!
Hi, Lisa…I love your orchid but love the table even more…is it a Shaker Stryle table?
Hi Louise,
I am not sure what kind of table it is — I bought it as an antique. I do know that it is made from Texas Longleaf pine — there’s a population of the pines about an hour east of here. It’s neat because it has bore holes from critters gnawing away at it.
The bottom shelf has my copper watering can from my Grandpa and cool rocks from a trip to Arizona — from a visit to my cousin’s cactus ranch — I’ll have to take a picture of that next.
