Thanks for all of the birthday wishes everyone — really means alot!
And now, back to stamping…
This necklace is a gift for a friend, so I hope she isn’t reading this. Not naming any names in case she is. Ha. In any event, she’ll receive it on Friday, so that’s only a small window of opportunity for her to see it.
I’m going to make a few more if I have time before Christmas — I want one for myself!
Supplies and instructions: All stamps, gems and acetate notecard by Hero Arts. Stamp a bird once on patterned paper, again on cardstock, color with pencils, cut out, glue in place and add gems. Then do it again for the other side. Put a blop — that’s a technical term — of Ranger’s Stickles glitter glue in a corner, then use your finger to spread it out. Makes look like it is falling around the bird. That’s a Memory Frame — also by Ranger — with acetate instead of glass so that the necklace is lighter. Ribbon by Renaissance. Red patterned paper by Memory Box and green by Bo Bunny.
These are darling!
Love this – simple & very festive design. :) I never would have thought to turn the birdies into a necklace!
