More woodgrain yumminess.

Okay, I will admit it — I’m addicted to woodgrain patterns!  When I had the supplies out for this card I just had to make another

I’m still addicted to glitter, too.  And owls!  This card is also here on the Hero Arts blog + there’s more fun thank-yous there, too!

Oh and I wanted to let you know that I updated the slideshow over there in the sidebar with the last of my 2009 catalog cards — I think!  Whew.  There are some that I forgot to take pics of though, doh!   You can click on a picture to see a larger version.  Let me know what ones you’d like learn more about.  Thanks for all of the comments on the colored pencil video — it is definitely in the works.  :)

Have a great weekend!  I’m going to be playing with my new toys from Christmas, can’t wait!

Supplies: Hero Arts thank you messages, Christmas owls, new 2009  Raindrop Background (embossed in white) and Woodgrain Pattern (stamped in Soft Pool Shadow ink), strawberry and mocha notecards, and new light green pearls.  Tonic paper edge distressor.  American Crafts ribbon.  Prismacolor pencils.  Stickles glitter glue — I put a line of it around the distressed edge and then smeared it with my finger.

Adorable! One of the first stamps I bought from the 2009 stamps was the wood grain.

  2. So cute Lisa!! I can’t wait to get my woodgrain stamp…have so many ideas!

  3. So Adorable, Lisa! Now, I got to get that Wood Grain background stamp! :)

  4. That owl is so cute! The wood grain in the background reminds me of snow and the ribbon a scarf, especially since the owl is bundled up.

  5. Oh man! That looks totally different in the blue color. I love it. It looks a lot like snow! Very neat!
    Great job!

  6. I love that woodgrain! I didn’t notice the Raindrop Background at first…thought it was PP! Ha! Fun, fun!

  7. Super adorable – and I love that ribbon!
