So, I saw some spendy decorative paperclips the other day — they were manufactured — and my mind started whirring with ideas on how I could make some myself. (And save a little $ — to spend on crafty stuff, ha!) As soon as I saw the new Mix + Match Elements set from Hero my mind went — ah ha!
I went a little crazy making them — so fast + easy…
They’re on the Here Arts website here if you’d like to learn how to make ’em. AND, best of all — at least to me — they use recycled chipboard! This was from the back of a notepad. I’m planning to put them on mini cards — clipped to the top, and I think I will keep some for myself to brighten up the office.
Let me know if you make any, would love to see!
These are adorable and very clever! I love the idea of clipping them onto a mini card.
Dang! How adorable are these?!
Great idea!!!!!
I may make some for teacher gifts.

Okay… Lisa you inspired me to use this idea for a baby card. Thanks for the great idea and I still plan on using the same idea for paper clips in a future card. (Would be great for father’s day)
