So, I saw some spendy decorative paperclips the other day — they  were manufactured — and my mind started whirring with ideas on how I could make some myself. (And save a little $ — to spend on crafty stuff, ha!) As soon as I saw the new Mix + Match Elements set from Hero my mind went — ah ha!

I went a little crazy making them — so fast + easy…

They’re on the Here Arts website here if you’d like to learn how to make ’em.  AND, best of all — at least to me — they use recycled chipboard!  This was from the back of a notepad.  I’m planning to put them on mini cards — clipped to the top, and I think I will keep some for myself to brighten up the office.

Let me know if you make any, would love to see!

  1. Okay… Lisa you inspired me to use this idea for a baby card.  Thanks for the great idea and I still plan on using the same idea for paper clips in a future card. (Would be great for father’s day)
