As soon as I saw Kristina’s color challenge this week I new just what I was going to do. You see, I’d been hoarding these big felt flowers for — get this — two years! And, they were the perfect colors…
I’d also been hoarding some rub-ons. So, I decided to make an acetate card.
The hardest part of the challenge was actually taking the pictures — I had to put a brown piece of paper on my desk, hope you can see the flowers stamped on the acetate.
The colors + the felt flowers kinda reminded me of some old 6o’s-70’s curtains I saw in a kitchen at a ranch house one day. Brings back memories of a yummy pancake breakfast with fresh eggs from the chickens outside! And it’s making me hungry…off to have a snack!
Supplies: Scattered Flowers DesignBlock, gems, acetate notecard, and small felt flowers by Hero. I rubbed a white felt flower with soft pool shadow ink to turn it blue. I stamped the acetate notecard with the DesignBlock using white Staz On ink — love doing that! Ribbon, hello rub-on and large felt flowers by American Crafts. The green cardstock was cut with a Nestibilities die + my Cuttlebug. I put a white cardstock piece cut with the same die on the inside so I’d have someplace to write a message.
Wow! what a stunning card …. love it
