Saw my first robin today, so spring must be here already in Texas — very different from this time last week when I was in Ohio! Loved seeing all the snow there, I really do miss it.
Anyhow, I made a springy card for the Hero Club Blog this morning — you’ve got to wait until tomorrow to see it — sorry! Until then though, I thought I’d share this quickie card made with some leftovers. Here’s the outside
And, here’s the inside
Love that woodgrain background!
Did I mention that it’s 77 degrees right now? (To my family in Ohio — I’m not rubbing it in or anything, noooooo, not me….)
Supplies: All stamps, gems, and notecard by Hero Arts. Butterfly punch by Martha Stewart. Can’t remember who made the ribbon. I used a Nestability to cut out the circle. Some of you asked about the metal thingy holding the card — it’s called a floral frog, and I found mine at my local Smith & Hawken. Thanks to the wonderful Dawn McVey for telling me about them, as I wondered what they were myself!
I love bein’ on the same wave-length as you, girl!!! This is *so* FAB, chiquita!–I love window cards!!! Could I *use* any more exclamation marks???!!!
Love that card! It is warm here in Dallas today too! What a weird winter we have had this year!
Can’t wait to see your card tomorrow but today’s ia really nice too! I too am loving ALL the backgrounds…So FUN!
It is not like spring here…It is cold and rainy…..
Very cute! That wood grain is so springy!
Very Cute card, Lisa and I love that you use
a flower holder as a card stand!
What is that pronged disk that holds your cards for photographing, and where did you buy it? Very cool!
Hi all! I added info to the supply list about the metal thingy that is holding the card. :)
Love the window card. Beautiful bright colors.
Love your “card stand” –Where might I find one of those?
Adorable card as always, Lisa!
Gorgeous, Lisa! That wood grain is amazing. I have that same Martha Stewart punch. I haven’t used it in a while. The gems are always a nice touch.
