Ahhhhh, spring!

Saw my first robin today, so spring must be here already in Texas — very different from this time last week when I was in Ohio!  Loved seeing all the snow there, I really do miss it.

Anyhow, I made a springy card for the Hero Club Blog this morning — you’ve got to wait until tomorrow to see it — sorry!  Until then though, I thought I’d share this quickie card made with some leftovers.  Here’s the outside

And, here’s the inside

Love that woodgrain background!

Did I mention that it’s 77 degrees right now?  (To my family in Ohio — I’m not rubbing it in or anything, noooooo, not me….)

Supplies: All stamps, gems, and notecard by Hero Arts.  Butterfly punch by Martha Stewart.  Can’t remember who made the ribbon.  I used a Nestability to cut out the circle.  Some of you asked about the metal thingy holding the card — it’s called a floral frog, and I found mine at my local Smith & Hawken.  Thanks to the wonderful Dawn McVey for telling me about them, as I wondered what they were myself!
