Kristina’s Color Challenge #44

Hi everyone! I just woke up from a nap with an idea buzzing around in my head for Kristina’s Color Challenge this week. Here are the challenge colors — love them!

kw44-swatchesAnd, here’s my card! It’s just a quick little one since I’m still not feeling that great. Thanks for all of your get well wishes, they really made me smile.  And thanks to Kristina for a fun little challenge to take my mind off of things.  I’m going to send it to my Grandma.

Love this ribbon — it has velvet running down the center, so soft!  I got it to make Valentine’s Day cards and didn’t use it at all, doh!

And I love the Sakura clear sparkle jelly roll pen!  I put some in the flowers, on the clouds, and I also used it to make a dotted outline border.  Hope you can see it, was super hard to photo!

Supplies:  All stamps by Hero Arts — the striped cloud is from the Clear Design Little Things set, the owl is an individual woodblock stamp, and the message is from the A Little Note Design Accents set.  Die cut shape by Nestabilities.  Light pink gems and chocolate notecard also by Hero.  Polka dot paper by Paper Salon.

  11. Hi, Lisa,
Hope you are doing better.  Love your card and that ribbon is gorgeous. I meant to wish you better earlier but my phone won’t allow me to momment on your blog and I just forgot when I  was online. Can I ask you a computer question.  I have been using my G1 phone online and it allows me to leave a comment everywhere but not yours. Do you know why?
I like to go online with my phone because it’s so much faster. (My home still uses dial-up connection. Silly isn’t it?) Sorry for this long message. Sending hugs to you!!!

  12. Awww…that is sweet!  So cute!  You’ll be better in no time!

  13. I love the owl. I also adore that shape of the pink cardstock. I loved it so much I had to run out and get that design card for the my Slice. I love Noteworthy style. The colors are so pretty too. I love chocolate and pink together. I haven’t been able to find the owl stamps in any of the stores around me.  :(   I puchase usually when I can use a coupon.  This Wed A.C.Moore has a 50% off one regular price item.  I hope they have the new Hero Arts stamp sets.  Thanks for sharing your ART!

  14. It’s all in the details! I love that you cute out the owl and the limb — the dots around the edge are perfect!
