Hey you guys! Have you heard the news? Hero Arts is debuting 14 new stamps in a line called Decorate It!® at Target this Sunday! WOO!!!!! Here’s a little sneak peek I had on the Hero Arts blog yesterday:
I had some questions asking what supplies I used in the peek — so here they are!
One thing to be sure to note — these supplies will NOT all be at Target — only the 14 new Decorate It!® stamp sets, including the one in the background with the cute penguin and “snow much joy” stamp that I used will be there. :)
And, I had some more questions on how I made the card, so here goes!
First, I stamped the Snowflakes and Edges cling stamp with pool mid-tone ink on a pool notecard. Next, I embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder, and then I rubbed it with sandpaper to reveal the white core of the pool notecard. Then I dotted on some frosted lace stickles to the dots on the snowflakes. The rest was just a matter of stamping the NEW penguin and message stamps in black and cutting them out, then assembling the card. The final trick was to go around the edges of the card with white pigment ink for a crafty look. Ta dah!
