Hero Arts Soft Vanilla Ink Technique!

Hey hello! I’m on the Hero Arts blog today, sharing a nifty technique using Soft Vanilla ink. It’s just like magic!

Here’s a look at the card, using the new Star Background Fancy die from the just-released Starry Nights catalog:

I just stamped the BasicGrey Astronomy Background on cream letterpress paper using the Soft Vanilla ink, then went over it with daubers (see list below).

The Littlest Birds

I first stumbled across this Soft Vanilla ink trick while working on this journaling page for the Hero Arts 2014 catalog. Here you can really see the magic!

I just inked the Tiny Flags Background with Soft Yellow and Soft Vanilla and stamped it. Then I stamped the Bird in black, and traced around the edges with daubers and watched the magic happen. So cool, right?
