Hi all! Hope you’re recovering from your Thanksgiving feasts!
I heard an old kid’s song on the radio on the way to work Wed — it was on KUT for those in the area — and it’s been going through my head — but I was only singing the first two lines and driving Jason crazy, so I did some Googling and found it! It’s called Why Does The Sun Shine? (The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas) by Lou Singer and Hy Zaret from 1959. Kind of appropriate since it’s all cloudy and rainy today — still 63 F out though, sorry you Ohioans!
You can listen to the song along with others on the album here: Singing Science Records — it’s the 5th song down.
But even when it’s out of sight
The sun shines night and day
Give it a listen and let me know what you think! Zoom a Little Zoom is pretty cute too!
