joy and peace

Made these at 1 AM last night to go in the same package as the Twinkle card below. Was doing all this late night/early morning stamping because I was volunteering at a local preserve this morning from 9-1, and had to get them to the post office on my way home — the post office closed at 2:30 — but I made it. Whew.

These are some of my favorite new 2007 stamps from Hero Arts. The catalog is out in stores now, so I guess it is okay to share — shhhh if not! The stamps are Pod Branch Background (G4614 on page 60) and Pod Branches (C4594 on page 63). I love these, my heart did a little leap when I opened the box with them inside!

Supplies: The Pod Branch Background was stamped with Celadon VersaColor pigment ink on smooth white cardstock, then the Pod Branches were stamped on top with Ancient Page Chocolate ink. I added a bit of a highlight with Prismacolor pencils. Joy and peace stamp also by Hero Arts. Fabriano notecards. Brad by Making Memories. Bazzill brown cardstock.

Oh — and the smaller cards are actually tags to go on a jar of mulling sachets. I put mine in one of those neat-o canning jars with the lid that you open/close with the bail-wire-clamp, and tied the cards on with twine. Didn’t get a picture of the jars, darn.

Gotta get the desk cleaned up soon, I keep losing things on it! Has anyone seen my ruler?  But first, I’m off to bake a cake for a party tomorrow…

I should be doing a lot of other things………………..but I got my catalog and a couple of the 2007 (sneak peak) stamps……….all of the clear design numbers and almost all the shades of the new card stock and a new flourish, a doodle and the circle the month.
They had more but…………I left some to order at Hero Arts as there’s nothing as good as a mailman coming to the door with a package!!!!! As for the catalog and all of the new stamps………I am in awe of all the creativity it represents. Stunning!!! My wishlist…..way too long to mention.
    Have a nice day, Lisa.

  4. ALL of the new flowers – 2 pages worth (I don’t remember the page numbers), a couple of the Pocketful O’ ones, and some of the new birthday messages. I did manage to pick up a couple of new sets at the LSS the other day, so I have enough to keep me content for now.

I’m sure as I go through the catalog some more and peek in on your blog I will add to the list!

    Jackie
