…but I like where it’s headed. Sideoats grama is the state grass of Texas, and one of my favorite grasses. It’s the grass in black and is a scan of some sideoats from our prairie garden. The photo is actually of little bluestem, but it will have to do for now. Ha ha.
A friend suggested I call the blog “flourishes and scribbles” — kinda had a Harry Potter ring to it — and that’s where I got the idea for “sideoats + scibbles”. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and ideas — this was a very hard decision to make!
