I made it!

Woo hoo!!!

What a great day catching up with the Hero gang + seeing friends! Just got a hug from Tim Holtz in the hotel lobby :)

Now I’m at California Pizza Kitchen with Leslie, Shari, Jennifer, Todd and Carol! Yum.

We made good progress setting up the booth, yay! Here’s a shot from when I first go there…

Doesn’t look like much, eh?  Now we’re about halfway done setting up… stay tuned for more tomorrow!  For now, I’ll leave you with this chocolate brownie…

  1. You are actually 20 minutes away from me.  I live in Orange County, Ca.  I wish I could be there, but I heard it is really, REALLY expensive to go if you are not a member.  (Sigh!)  But I can’t wait to see the pics you post!
That chocolate brownie is soooo tempting but I’ll have to pass…lol!  I just had a pecan pie from Marie Callender’s this evening!

    Big Hugs!

  2. Cool shot of the convention center!  If you’re looking for great places to eat…check out Joe’s Crabshack on Harbor and Chapman – go on the weekend evenings – the waiters do 80’s style dancing for all the diners!!  You have to request it though..hehe.

  3. Hello Lisa!
Oh this is so exciting!  I am so glad you are posting photos of CHA!  It’s like having a VIP pass!!!!!!!
Hey, what’s with the plastic on the floor?  Is the whole showroom that way?????? I know, weird Q, but I am that way.
And a hug from Tim?  Awesome!
    Have fun!!!
Cant’ wait to see photos of you and the girls and boys!!!!

  4. Glad you made it safe and are having a good time even though it is work too….
    That brownie sure Looks Yummy!!

  5. Hi Andi!  The green carpet with the plastic over it is where our booth is.  The aisles of the showroom are still cement at this point — the roll out the carpet the night before the show opens, then as soon as the show closes — and I mean AS SOON AS, they roll it all up again.  It’s so that the forklifts and other equipment can get around and move crates to the booths.

Tiffany — I know where that Joe’s Crabshack is — we walked past it last night!  Good idea.  :)

Hi Yaneri — too bad you can’t come! I’ll keep posting pics so you can be “virtually here” tho!

Oh and!  That was Todd’s brownie — I just had one bite, it was yummy!

I’m one hour away from the convention center. I was going to go to the CHA, but I couldn’t find a babysitter. Maybe I’ll see you next year and say hi. :)

    Have fun!!!
