Batty for Halloween (+ Copic markers)!

bat-pumpkins-full

I’ve been working like mad on the Hero Arts 2010 catalog lately — stamping up a storm!  It’s all top secret stuff tho, so can’t share.  But yesterday I just had to take a break and play with my Copic markers + Glimmer Mist!  I’ve had the idea for this card kicking around in my brain for a while now, felt sooooo good to finally try it out.

I was going for kind of a spooky, foggy, misty, moonlight scene, and followed Marianne’s tutorial here. Thanks so much Marianne for your tutorials!

Here’s a shot with the lighting trying to mimic the moon + the lighting on the pumpkins, ha ha!

Wish you could see the Glimmer Mist in person — it’s so sparkly and pretty!  Love these stamps too, so fun to color.

Supplies: Doodle Bat,  Tall Pumpkin, Traditional Pumpkin stamps, gems and notecards all by Hero Arts, Labels One die by Spellbinders, white pen by Ranger, glitter glue, ribbon by Bazzill, Tattered Angels Glimmer mist in Graphite, Copic markers (YR07, Y15, Y38, YR68, R27, E25 for the pumpkins and G09 + YG06 for the leaves — I didn’t have all the ones in Marianne’s tutorial, but just played around and fudged it — I think they are close enough.  BV00, BV02 + the same greens on the bat.)

Have a spooky great day,
