Hey you guys! Just a quick little note to let you know that I’m back in freezing cold Austin — whew!

It was in the 70’s when I left LA yesterday and flights were cancelled left and right. But I made it.

yummy breakfast

(Award ribbon from Katrina at Pugly Pixel. Photo taken with ShakeIt iphone app.)

Was so great seeing everyone and all the new crafty products at the show — I have lotsa photos to share with you, can’t wait!

But in the meantime, I’m gonna finish this yummy muffin with some Nutella that Julie sent me all the way from the UK. (Thanks so much Julie! And thanks to Wendy for being the courier!)

And I gotta drink this coffee before it gets cold — brrr.  It’s in a mug that I got after breakfast at The Original Pantry Cafe one morning — that place is awesome.

Keep warm,

  1. So happy you are home safe and sound, Lisa! Don’t feel too bad about your chilly temps, it’s in the 50s here today….it got cold as soon as you left, hmmmm. It was so great to see you again. I’m busy working with my new Lawn Fawn stamp sets, they are too cute!
    blessings~

  2. Glad your home and can’t wait to see pictures of CHA. McHenry Road and our drive way look like ice skating rinks here. Below 0 tonight with wind chill. At least the ground hog didn’t see his shadow. I’m looking forward to SPRING!!! MOM

  3. Hello sweet Lisa!
Super cute photo… and guess what???? We can purchase Nutella in our local grocery store (Albertsons or Safeway – I forget which one I purchased our jar at)… right here.. in the middle of Eastern Oregon!!!!! My son is addicted to the stuff… we love it on toast!
    Glad to have you back!

  4. Can’t wait to see your photos from CHA, Lisa! I’ve seen a few pics over on the Flickr sight and it sure looks like everyone had a blast! Glad you made it back safely. . .welcome home! :)

  5. Yummy Nutella! I need to get some more. It’s right up there with the peanut butter in my local super market!!!! My 8 year old grandson loves it, too and it has to be a staple on my pantry shelf!!!
Glad you made it home safely in spite of the wacky winter weather out there!

  6. Lisa, I’m sure it’s lovely to be home again and what a yummy looking snack for a cold day! My boys love Nutella too especially on toasted brown bread. It looks like you’ll be able to track down Nutella in Austin under the store locator on this website http://www.nutellausa.com/index.html – it would be terrible to run out of it, lol! Looking forward to seeing more of your photos from CHA!
